A hidden artist I have found in San Diego!  She takes you back to where
and when we ruled the 70's... My fav album is "Wild Grace" Artist is
"Peggy Watson" WWW.Peggywatson.com after two years I still take her music in.
She performs regulary in San Diego and Julian as well as house concerts.
Just something kool I have found in my travels in life.

Thanks for the tip, David.  I'll have to let you know, though, that there's a certain person on the board (Ed Soto) who has the looooooooooongest post on his favorite artist (Leigh Nash) Roll Eyes and I'm sure he'll be here soon to degrade your thread.  LOL  Welcome aboard.

My little sis, Margie Harding, graduated in your class.

Hey Lynn,
Well I thought this post would fit in here since this Artist is about our age. She grew up in Apple Valley (Southern California) like us.
Her music is similar to what we had in the 70's kind of like where Maria Muldaur left us
with "Midnight after you're wasted"  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FS_VlIhKn6c

Leigh Nash wasn't born until 1976 her music may be appealing to a lot but it wont have the reminisce as we can have.  Oh well!

Margie! Yes I remember her well! She was a cutie, actually Margie was pretty much flawless back then. Has she remained flawless?  Tell her I said hello...

OK, just so you know...NOBODY here enjoys Leigh Nash EXCEPT Ed Soto. ;)LOL

My husband will enjoy this link, so thanks for posting it. He is a music enthusiast(to put it kindly, haha).

Well, if you ask, Margie will tell you she's still 'flawless', LOL.  She is doing well.  I'll tell her you said hello.

I don't know if you've heard of these guys, but if you like nostalgia, they are awesome...Venice is the name of the band.  My husband and I saw them at a Jackson Browne concert in Santa Monica and actually liked them as much as Jackson Browne.  They are locals of Santa Monica and they rock the house!

Hi David, pleased to meet you.

I have been so totally 'baited' into this... Wink

Lynne clued me in to this thread, but she didn't mention it was her that mentioned Leigh Nash...I'm a good sport.

David, I'll have to go listen to Peggy Watson.  I enjoy female vocalists, mostly the ones off Indie labels.

My affinity for Leigh is closely tied with my die-hard fanship of Sixpence None the Richer...I'm crazy about that band.  Matt Slocum & Leigh formed the band back in the mid '90s, and are from New Braunfels, TX, but now live in Nashville.

Here's a lousy pose of me next to a good pose of Leigh Anne Bingham Nash.  She is very friendly with strangers...I respect people's 'space', but she grabbed me and pulled me next to her.  My 21 yr old daughter snapped the shot from her cell phone camera at the end of a performance in Anaheim, not two months ago.  Anyway, I finally got to meet her...she's very sweet and IMO has the world's best voice...also, she could be my daughter (they both have red hair) as I'm old enough.

Carry on.  I promise not to degrade your thread anymore with yakkety yak about this most awesome singer.  Roll Eyes Grin
