I'm looking at Anlin and Milgard windows.  The Anlin are 40% more expensive than the Milgard.  Does anyone know anything about these brands?

Wendy,

I know we use Milgard here at the complex, but I'm sure that's because they're cheaper!

Hopefully someone will have some good info for you.

Do you have any problems with the Milgard?

The only problem I've had with the Milgard is that ours are all single-paned and let in too much noise.  My window guy told me they only use double-paned now on new installations and that those noise problems would go away if we installed them.  Now I have to talk my boss into letting me change out my perfectly good bedroom window so I can get the double-paned version and start getting more sleep at night without all the street noise coming in.

Hi Wendy,
We had our windows replaced by WinDor and we were very happy with the installation and customer service. They have a showroom in Anaheim near the stadium.

Brian...everyone is a comedian...NOT!

BTW, if you're looking at windows I researched this to death!  Decided on the Anlin windows and couldn't be happier Smiley
