Is anyone from the class of 2000 (other than me!) active on this board? ^_^

What's everyone up to now?

Hehe... I haven't gone that much farther myself, Chris. Just working at UCI in an academic department coordinating their undergrad program. For practically peanuts. Oy. >_<

Are you in school?

Crap... bet you're not the only one. Got a few friends who were laid off and my mom's company just let go half their employees AND shrunk their used-to-be 6-day work week, down to 4, and now--it's down to 3. BUT--my mom and sister-in-law have been retained, so they've still got a job/health insurance.

Furloughs will be coming to UCI soon, but at least my brother's company's pretty much untouched--just no more overtime there. It;s crazy right now. Hope you're able to get a leg up somewhere and that your family's supportive. What field were you working in and what kind of work are you looking for?
